Ben Shuffain- Head Coach

Ben Shuffain is entering his second year as Head Coach for the Eagles. He is a Wellness Teacher and a Sharon High School Class of 1999 graduate. Coach Shuffain played Pop Warner for Sharon along with being the starting High School QB from 1996-1998 for the Eagles. He started his coaching career in Sharon in 2002 and made other stops along the way at Oliver Ames High School, Stonehill College and Carver High School. Coach Shuffain was named the 2023 Boston Globe D8 Coach of the Year and South Shore League Coach of the Year while leading the Carver Crusaders to their first ever trip to Gillette Stadium. Coach is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
Peter Canuto- Defensive Coordinator

Peter Canuto is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Eagles. He previously coached at Oliver Ames from 2008 to 2011 as the special teams and linebackers coach, contributing to the team's 2011 Davenport Division championship and their appearance in the high school Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium. Before Oliver Ames, he spent several years coaching Sharon and Easton Pop Warner. A former player for the Sharon Eagles, Canuto graduated from Sharon High School in 1997. He currently works for the Town of Sharon and is actively involved in the revival of Sharon Youth Football and Cheer.
Joe Todd- Assistant Coach

Joe Todd is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Eagles. Coach Todd graduated from Mansfield High School where he was an integral part of the 1996 Undefeated Superbowl Champions. He played his college ball at Hofstra University where he was named to the 2000 D-1AA all Independent Team and continued his career with the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His coaching stops include Iona College, Wagner College, University of New Hampshire, University of Rhode Island along with Dedham High, Mansfield High and Milford High School where he was the Head Coach from 2013-2016.
Zach Currier- Assistant Coach

Zach Currier is entering his second year as an assistant coach for the Eagles. He is a graduate of Tri-County RVTHS (2017) and Bridgewater State University (2022). Coach Currier played RB/WR for Tri County, as well as a season at Becker College and for the Brockton Buccaneers. He coached two seasons at Tri-County before coming to Sharon High School this past fall. He is currently a physical education teacher and a baseball coach at Garciaparra Baseball Group (GBG).
Joe Haven- Assistant Coach

Joe Haven is entering his 13th season with the Sharon Eagles football staff. He also has been the Eagles JV lacrosse coach for the past 8 seasons. A graduate of Attleboro High School, Coach Haven has worked for the Sharon school department for 22 years.
Giovani Valmond- Assistant Coach
Giovani Valmond is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Eagles. A former player for the Eagles (Class of 2017), Coach Valmond went on to attend Dean College, where he played two years of Division III football. After his college career, he began working for the Town of Sharon as the School Resource Officer. Additionally, Coach Valmond has served in the United States Army National Guard since 2019 and continues to serve to this day.
Matt McLaughlin- Assistant Coach
Matt McLaughlin is entering his 5th season as an assistant coach for the Eagles. Coach McLaughlin is a Mansfield High graduate who led the Hornets to an Undefeated Superbowl Championship in 1996 and then continued his football career by playing QB at UMass Dartmouth for four years. He started his coaching career in Mansfield Pop Warner and then with Sharon High in the early 2000’s with additional stops at Norton High School and Bishop Feehan High School.
